Facilitators work directly with young people, run regular group sessions and help young people develop positive relationship that enables them to live successfully in their homes

Steve has a level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care and has 20 years’ experience of working with Young People in a range of different professional settings. These include outreach, residential homes and for the last 3 years working as a Personal Adviser for the Leaving Care Team. 

Steve has always had a passion for helping Young People to reach their full potential and now wants to support them with the transition into becoming an adult and having a home that they can be proud of.

National Care Leavers Month 2025

NHP marked a significant milestone this year by celebrating the first-ever National Care Leavers Month (NCLM) - a month-long opportunity to amplify the voices and celebrate the achievements of care leavers. Building on the success of previous National Care Leavers Weeks (NCLW), extending the celebration for a full month created more space and opportunity to recognise the accomplishments and resilience of care-experienced young people.
