House Project Programme Expands to Support More Young People in Manchester and Fife. A new initiative to support young people transitioning out of care is gaining momentum in Manchester and Fife, as the House Project Programme expands to reach a wider group. The programme, which focuses on supporting care leavers develop the skills, networks, and confidence needed has seen recent developments in both regions.
Kiltwalk 2024

Held on Sunday 15th September, the Kiltwalk saw 36 enthusiastic walkers don their kilts and hit the streets, all in the name of raising funds for the provision of white goods for our young people moving into their first home. The event raised over £3500 which will go directly towards purchasing white goods and we would like to thank everyone who contributed to this great achievement.
EXploring Innovations in Transition to Adulthood’ (EXIT) Study

The evaluation report focused on identifying the key ingredients to develop and sustain innovation at a practice and policy level for care leavers. It highlighted six fidelity elements (co-production, base, relationship practice, learning programme, house and LHP professional team), three outcome domains (young people, organisation and innovation journey) and the five ingredients for establishing and sustaining innovation (co-production, adaption and learning, shared leadership, receptivity of contexts and outcome measures).
